Coldstream
Coldstream (Scottish Gaelic: An t-Alltan Fuar[3]) is a burgh in the Scottish Borders. It lies on the north bank of the River Tweed in Berwickshire, while Northumberland in England lies to the south bank. The town is well known as the home of the Coldstream Guards British Army regiment, and is also noted as the location where Edward I of England invaded Scotland in 1296.
